What’s Up Dog? offers a variety of classes and workshops that address issues helpful to puppies and older dogs alike. And yes, we can teach old dogs new tricks.
Bully Breed
6 weeks
Teach your bully basic commands and learn how to solve common behavior problems. Learn how to keep your bully well-mannered on leash around other dogs and learn how to address breed-specific training needs. This class is designed for American Pit Bull Terriers, Staffordshire Bull Terriers, American Staffordshire Terriers and these breed mixes (five months and older). The first orientation class is for owners only.

Puppy Manners
7 weeks | For puppies 8 weeks to 5 months
Puppy mischief can be cute, but a puppy with good manners is even cuter. Teach your puppy socialization skills and basic commands like look, sit, down, stay, come, loose leash walking, leave it, wait, settle and greeting exercises. Owners also learn how to solve common behavioral problems like potty training, mouthing and jumping up. The first orientation class is for owners only. |

Basic Manners
7 weeks | For dogs 5 months and over
When it comes to teaching good manners to unruly pooches, we start with the basics. In this class, dogs learn socialization skills and basic commands. Using food rewards, we teach basics like look, sit, down, stay, come, loose leash walking, leave-it, wait, settle, and greeting. Owners learn how to solve common behavioral problems like barking and jumping up. The first orientation class is for owners only. |

Basic Manners II
7 weeks
Take your dog’s training to a new level. Learn how to remove food rewards as you work on more advanced commands like heel, stand, come with distractions, stay with distractions, go out, sits & downs at a distance and advanced greetings. Your dog also learns to achieve off-leash control. Commands are taught with variations in distance, duration and distractions. This class also prepares your dog for the Canine Good Citizen test. |

Targeting Basics
6 weeks
You’ll never believe what your dog can do with his nose. In this class dogs learn a nose and paw touch, work with a target stick, target on the ground and hand target. Learn all about the benefits of target training. It’s a great way to enhance basic obedience and learn cool tricks, agility, and freestyle basics. The first orientation class is for owners only. |

Click N’ Tricks
6 weeks
Tired of the same ol’ sit, down and stay? Learn fun new tricks through clicker training. Owners learn all about clicker training while teaching their dogs tricks like paw, wave, crawl, roll over, back up, around, bow, jump, touch and more. The first orientation class is for owners only. |

Canine Good Citizen Prep
4 weeks
Is your dog certifiable? Prepare your pet to pass the Canine Good Citizen test. The test is given on the last night of class. |

Loose Leash Walking 101
4 weeks
Get control of the leash with these basic training techniques. Learn how to go for a walk without your dog taking you for a walk. This class teaches your dog to walk on a loose leash without pulling. |

Reliable Recalls
4 weeks
Wouldn’t it be great if you never had to chase down your dog again? Teach your dog to come when called, even when she doesn’t want to. |

Solid Stays
4 weeks
Teach your dog to chill, at home or on the road. In this class your dog learns to perform a sit, down or stay until you release him. Commands are learned with variations in distance, duration and distractions. |
