Basic Manners

When it comes to teaching good manners to unruly pooches, we start with the basics. In this class, dogs learn socialization skills and basic commands. Using food rewards, we teach basics like look, sit, down, stay, come, loose leash walking, leave-it, wait, settle, and greeting. Owners learn how to solve common behavioral problems like barking and jumping up. The first orientation class is for owners only. Enroll now.

Basic Manners II
6 weeks | For graduates of Basic Manners | Benicia
Take your dog’s training to a new level. Learn how to remove food rewards as you work on more advanced commands like heel, stand, come with distractions, stay with distractions, go to place, sits & downs at a distance and advanced greetings. Commands are taught with variations in distance, duration and distractions. This class also prepares your dog for the Canine Good Citizen test. Enroll now.

Puppy Manners
7 weeks | For puppies 8 weeks to 5 months | Walnut Creek
Puppy mischief can be cute, but a puppy with good manners is even cuter. Teach your puppy socialization skills and basic commands like look, sit, down, stay, come, loose leash walking, leave it, wait, settle and greeting exercises. Wallflowers (Basic Manners for Shy Dogs)

The Wallflowers class is specifically designed to help shy and fearful dogs blossom and learn to enjoy training in a social setting. Learn the skills needed to help your dog become a more confident pooch while teaching him basic manners skills and learning ways to curb unwanted behavior. For this class your dog should be fearful of either dogs, people, noises or other scary things but without a history of aggressive behavior such as snapping or biting.
